LAST DAYS IN NEPAL

Never thought this would be so hard. Never thought my heart would be heavy like a rock which would suppress me day in and day out. Never thought tears would roll through my cheeks whenever the thought of leaving Nepal.
November 15 was the day I went to one of the consultancy in Kathmandu and filled in the application form to study in one of the reputed colleges of Australia. After two weeks of wait, Offer letter from the college was issued and that was one step forward towards my new beginning. Just a day after the offer was issued, documentation for the visa application started, sometimes I had to visit the government office and sometimes to the bank and consultancy too. After 1.5 months of tedious dedication of my beloved mother and father, the documentation was finally concluded. and on 14th of January I applied for a confirmation Letter after I paid the fees and the other charges included. The confirmation was sent right away in couple of days and I got ready with other additional documents to apply for my australian visa. 25th of Jan was the date, I went to VFS Global with my documents and visa fees to send my visa application along with attached documents to the Australian High Commission in New Delhi as the visa application from Nepal has been looked into from New Delhi, India from a long time. Everything went well, and I finally lodged my visa, following necessary steps. It was a sign of relief for me aswell as my family. Then right few days happened something no one ever expected... A VISIT TO DOLESHWOR AND ASHAPURI

On Saturday, me along with my family went for a drive to Ashapuri situated in Bhaktapur.

First of all we visited and worshiped Doleshwor Mahadev (popularly known as केदारनाथको शिर ) around 8 kms from Kathmandu. It was sad to see huge damage caused to the Doleshwor Mahadev temple by the recent earthquake. Only the शिवलिङ्ग was open for the visitors to worship and the premises was on the process of renovation and reconstuction. So after putting on Tika from the holy priest, we again resumed our journey towards Ashapuri, which was about 5 kms uphill.
After 20 minutes to pretty bumpy ride, we reached Ashapuri. It was really situated in a quite place, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. As it was saturday, it was a bit  crowded. A small rivulet flowed beside it. It was crystal clear water, straight from the origin.

It was a nice experience for myself to visit the new place and that too in a very pleasant weather.

 A visit to BAUDHANATH

It was a chilly weekend so with my pullovers on and making baudhanath (Nepali: बौद्धनाथ) my destination, I started my day. after around 30 minutes of bus ride from the bus stop near my home, I reached Baudha. Amidst the building showed up the mighty some shaped Baudhanath , a popular hub among the Buddhist.

The stupa's massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal. With a height of 118 ft (36 meters) this ancient stupa is also one the world's largest.
